YES, bike leasing is now also possible within PC 329.01

The new collective labor agreement of February 26, 2026 within joint committee 329.01 is officially in force. This means that bike leasing through the year-end bonus is now possible within this sector.

Joint committee 329.01, the socio-cultural sector (Flemish Community), includes a wide range of organizations and institutions, from cultural centers to environmental and nature associations.

This is very good news for organizations that want to stimulate sustainable mobility while still keeping a close eye on budgets. Thanks to this agreement, you can offer employees a leased bike without creating additional labor costs for the organization.

And the best part? At Joule, you can get started with this right away.

What exactly is changing?

The agreement modifies the rules surrounding the year-end bonus within joint committee 329.01. Depending on the subsector, this bonus consists of either a full thirteenth salary or a combination of a fixed indexed amount and a percentage of the gross annual salary.

For organizations that fall within the scope of the agreement, this creates the possibility to use part of the year-end bonus for bike leasing.

The scope is clearly defined. The agreement only applies to organizations that fall under joint committee 329.01 and that receive operational funding from the Flemish government based on the decrees and decisions listed in the agreement.

Not sure whether your organization falls within this scope? Fill in the contact form below and we will gladly review it with you.

Who is eligible and how is the bonus calculated?

The year-end bonus is calculated pro rata based on the worked and equivalent periods during the reference period from January 1 to September 30.

Certain inactive periods are treated as worked periods, such as the first twelve months of incapacity for work due to illness or accident. Unpaid leave and time credit are not treated as worked periods, with the exception of certain care leave arrangements that count for a maximum of three months.

For part-time employees, the bonus is calculated in proportion to their contractual working hours. When an employee has not received their normal salary in October, a fictional salary is used for the calculation.

The bonus is granted in December of the relevant year, or upon termination of employment together with the final salary payment.
