As a Commuter Success Officer, you’re the first friendly voice of Joule and the engine that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You help customers move forward, keep our team up to speed and make sure every ride goes smoothly.

The people-first role that keeps Joule moving

As a Commuter Success Officer, you’re the first warm voice customers hear and the steady force that keeps our operations running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our Commuter Success Team (a truly wonderful bunch) and help make sure the entire Joule machine flows like a perfectly tuned Shimano Nexus 7.

(And no worries if you don’t know what that is. You’ll learn fast around here.)

🔍 Who are we looking for?

In short: someone who brings energy to people — and gets energy from helping them.

  • You speak Dutch, French and English fluently. German is a nice bonus.
  • You enjoy customer contact — by phone, email or in person.
  • You love structure: tidy inboxes, clear lists, smooth processes.
  • You can work independently but also enjoy supporting teammates.
  • You stay friendly — even on a Monday at 8 AM.
  • You like a role where admin, organisation and communication come together.

🚲 What will you be doing?

1. Reception & phone support (50%)

You’re the first friendly voice callers hear.

  • You handle inbound calls and connect people with the right colleague.
  • You answer basic questions about appointments, deliveries, service and maintenance.
  • You help improve our communication flows — clearer, smoother, faster.

2. Administration & internal support (50%)

You help keep the operational engine running.

  • You manage the general inbox and handle day-to-day requests.
  • You follow up on customer files and ensure everything is processed correctly and on time.
  • You support planning, document management and administrative processes.
  • You welcome visitors with the same warmth as callers.
  • You help with practical tasks: orders, meeting room prep, internal communication…

In short: you make sure things run — and at Joule, we like things to run smoothly.
